I thought I would introduce myself and share a bit of my story. The back story of my wife and I is rather long. The short version is we are now 37 with 2 kids. We have been together since we were 16 years old. There have been a lot of ups and downs, missteps and wrong turns. We have reached a place where it is common place to neglect each other’s needs. I am always on the search for ways to reconnect, to see each other through different eyes. Traditional methods haven’t seemed to be of much use to us. I managed to come across this site and was very intrigued by the content, the dynamic this “lifestyle” seems to bring to relationships. I have had some discussions with my wife about what I think I’ve learned or how I understand it. She has been agreeable about the topic but we are both very apprehensive. I guess we are learning, researching and trying to find a path that may fit us.

    Hello Tiger29,

My name is Mr. Daw and I am one of the ambassadors for the community.First off let me say welcome to the site sir. I hope that this site and community can help you find what you are looking for. If she hasnt already I would encourage you to suggest and encourage your wife to look into subMrs.com. It’s our sister site for the subs and has great advice tailored to that side of the dynamic. I would advise that as you explore this dynamic as a couple that you keep communication very open, honest, and open minded. Start with some simple rules and expectations and communicate often. The beautiful thing about this dynamic is it forces you to think of your partners needs at all times. The “Where to Begin” section has a wealth of information. If you give this dynamic a fair chance I can testify that it works. If you have any questions feel free to reach out to me or any of the other Doms on site. All will help in any way that we can.

    Regards,
    Mr. Daw

    Gentleman,

Thank you to all who have reached out to offer advise and well wishes. For about a month now my wife and I have been very slowly exploring this dynamic. We have already experienced some amazing results. Moments of a much deeper connection and desire to satisfy one another completely. I am truly amazed with some of the progress we have made.
This week we are trying to recover from our first step backwards. I am hoping to be back on track soon.
To date I have been the instigator and the provider of knowledge in our new journey. My wife has been an amazing sport about it all but I can’t help feeling uneasy with her “blind obedience”. I have strongly urged her to join the subMrs group. I would like her to gain her own perspective on things. I am hoping she takes the initiative to do this soon.
Once again thank you to all who have made introductions and broken the ice. I truly appreciate it.

      SirBee,

I agree and like the fact that you want your wife to develop her own perspective and desires within the dynamic. She will reach out to the community when she is ready.

You mentioned that you have just experienced your first step backwards. That left me thinking about this post that I had written.

        Mr. Fox,

I have read this post many times this week and will continue to come back to it often. I frequently need a gentle reminder to keep myself in check, to man up when things get rough. I greatly appreciate the resource I have found here. Thank you!
