Just learning
Hello everyone,
I joined a few days ago but wanted to spend some time understanding the site and the community before saying hello. In short I think this site is exactly what I was looking for and I think it’s going to help me immensely. I’m looking forward to encouraging my wife (who doesn’t have a sub name yet) to join the subMrs community too, although that may not happen for a few weeks yet, for reasons that will become clear in a moment.
We’ve got 2 kids (5 and 10) and a happy marriage, and although we have a good sex life it has ling been a frustration of mine that it is always me that instigates any type of sexual activity. It’s taken me a long time to realise why this is… now I do I’m now excited rather than disappointed by this.
Although it has been my wife’s desires which started us on the very early stages of a D/s journey, these were never openly shared. They were more little hints (or probably big hints that I was missing) and clues in how she responded in certain situations (again, most of which I probably didn’t pick up on).
In fact, despite having enjoyed several light scenes we’ve yet to sit down and discuss the dynamic outside of ‘the moment’ yet. This is something I intend to do in a couple of weeks once the kids have gone back to school.
So I’m on here to learn. I’m starting to build a clearer idea of how I want to approach things and what D/s could mean for us. Being able to read about other peoples thoughts and experiences is a great help 0 I’m looking forward to being able to share mine.
