  • settling into the lifestyle

    Hello all,
We are new to the lifestyle and community, but it seems so natural to us both. I am retired military and we have both retired (early in age) and live in an RV full-time traveling the US. We are very interested and have immersed ourselves is this as a 24/7 relationship. We are going slow, but for years i have tried to change my wife/sub to be more independent and it was just not working out. I always thought in order to have a happy marriage you had to divide everything evenly and fair, and you know what, i’ve realized that you do, it’s just that evenly and fair are relative to the relationship. My wife is naturally subservient and i finally realized that trying to make her into a “modern woman” so to speak was doing her an injustice. I said we are new, we are very new, going on about 1 week now, and i can see the joy and peace in her face, i’ve never seen her smile like she has been the last couple days. I want to move forward, we have order a couple custom collars (to which she is sooo looking forward to) and we are slowly moving forward. I am open to any and all advice and looking forward to a lifestyle that i wish i could have started years ago. I believe that a full time relationship is going to be a bit more difficult than just temp scene’s and i would really like some advice in that department.

Glad we finally found an informative and comfortable setting, looking forward to meeting everyone and learning to be a better Dom for my sub.

    hrntfxr,

    Welcome aboard,

Retiring early and traveling around the US in an RV sounds like a fantasy in itself.

My best advice at this juncture is to participate and be as active in the community as you can. From watching others that join our group, those that are actively participating are the ones seem to develop the sound foundations and grow with fortitude.

    Best wishes,

    Mr Fox
