New to the lifestyle. Day 1 is today.
By nature I am quiet and reserved. My marriage bed had become quite vanilla. My wife and I talked and she explained her desire to be submissive in the bedroom. Unsure of what she was asking of me I began to research. Thankfully, I quickly found my way to this site. In researching I began to unveil much more than my wife’s desire to be submissive, but my own, now awakened, realization and desire to be a Dominant. Not only in the bedroom, but in other areas of our marriage and relationship.
I have come to realize how much of a treasure, and a gift my wife is giving me by relinquishing herself to me wholeheartedly.
This site has done wonders to clear up the misconceptions I had regarding D/s. Not only does the bedroom play excite me, but the psychological benefits of my submissive wife allowing me to explore a dormant dominant side of my personality is exciting. This mental side of D/s is intriguing and alluring to me most. Im excited to learn more and lead my wife and I into a deeper understanding of our desired roles.

What a wonderful introduction. You will discover many other Dominants here on husDOM with very similar beginnings.
