New to D/s intro
Hi there, as the title states, I am new to the D/s lifestyle. It was only a week ago my wife tells me shes thinks shes a sub and wants to try this whole thing. I’m not sure that this is the thread to go into the back story of our relationship. However I will say we have been together for about 7 years, coming up on our 4 year anniversary and it has always been a struggle to get on the same page when it comes to sex.
It came to me as a bit of a surprise when she told me about her feelings of being a sub as I’ve always felt she is quite dominating in our normal day to day life. However after further researching I’ve found that, yes personality types can often times be opposite in bed/personal life.
I am completely open to the idea as I find the idea of being dominate quite arousing and have always felt like I’ve suppressed my sexual urges as i have lead mostly a vanilla lifestyle. it was also a bid relief to be able to open up about it. Since then the sex/intimacy has skyrocketed. I don’t think we’ve had this much sex consecutively in the 7 years we’ve been together.
We have both taken a bdsm personality test and actually scored very complimentary to one another. I have to admit though I am a bit timid to being a Dom as it is contrary to what I’ve been used to. I am glad my sub introduced me to this site and hope it helps me get started.

Howdy, glad you found us! I look forward to hearing more about your journey. You will both grow into your roles. It can be bedroom only and just have fun with it. Or it might go 100% full time all the time. Take it slow and enjoy the ride.
