I had never thought about myself as a Dom. I always considered myself a gentleman and thought the two to be mutually exclusive. I’m learning my mistaken thought. I’m 51, I’ve had two relationships. The first lasted thirty years in total. The second lasted two. I recently posted very descriptive ads about what I was looking for in a mate on some dating and adult sights. I was very open and honest about wanting someone who I could build a relationship that would be strong enough to allow us to swap partners or have threesomes. Something about the directness of the ads drew a significant number of responses from subs, some of them claiming years of experience as subs. They found it a huge turn on that I didn’t even identify as a Dom and wanted to be the ones to help me explore. It was enlightening. I subsequently went on an incredible date with a woman who was interested in the swinging aspect. She mentioned being more submissive in the bedroom but I know a lot of women are submissive and not necessarily subs so I didn’t think a lot about it. I am now in this relationship that is allowing me some exploration in D/s. I appreciate this sight to help me help her live out some fantasies.
