Introduction from Jamie
My wife and I have been discussing the D/s-m lifestyle for a couple of years now. We are married with two teenage children and all the positive and inconvenient experiences that go along with them. To my wife’s credit, she has shared with me her desire for my dominant side to “come out” more often in the bedroom. I think I struggle like most men crossing from husband, dad, work persona into the dominant lover. I think the challenge for me has been getting comfortable with that side of me and letting it out. We have experimented with what I would call D/s lite(some bondage, language, roles, etc) in the bedroom but now want to take it to the next level. I know this is something my wife wants as she has wonderfully expressed to me. The more I read this site, the more I am connecting with situations and it is helping me recognize that I truly want to be the D. I look forward to participating and reading the post. My wife has joint LKs site so we are experiencing this together. Thank you.

I can relate to the challenges of having teenagers in the house. They have forced My Sweetness and myself to find creative ways of having fun. But we have made it work, as I am sure you have!
Getting comfortable with that side that you struggle with will become much easier over time,as most things that we do.

This feeling that the two of you are experiencing regarding “taking it to the next level” appears to be a natural progression for the vast majority.
The more I read this site, the more I am connecting with situations and it is helping me recognize that I truly want to be the D
It is amazing how the more that you learn about the D/s-M lifestyle the more natural it becomes. You also begin to recognize desires that you had suppressed and never even realized that you had.
