Hello, I’m Mr. R. Growing up it was taught and ingrained in me with specific morales as to what a man and woman’s roles where in life. Went thru multiple relationships and felt that there was something missing. I meet my subMrs, not knowing any of the dynamics then of subMrs, and almost instantaneously got hooked by something I did not understand. Her and I separated ways but we always had this fire and connection that everybody saw and we felt. I ended up going to another relationship, latter separate myself from that relationship and was once more drawn back. Her and I got married for 8 years.I began researching and learning about this whole new world that was taboo or not the correct way to live your life from my upbringing and it was drawing me in more. I was able to identify the failures and why, how plain and boring it was, how i was yerning for the connection and fire my subMrs and I had all the time. I am here so I can become better, learn and study from others experience and/or guidance.

Welcome to HusDOM. Happy you found us. Self examination and improvement is what it’s all about. Read the Blogs, oldest to new, and you’ll have a better view of how one man did it. Your journey will not be the same but oddly enough quite similar in places.

Thank you. I have been doing a lot of reading and learning. It almost feels like I’m back in high school relearning, get frustrated either with myself with a few set backs or I know how I want it to be and how my subMrs wants it to be. It’s just beginning and I know it will be rough and rocky, this is where I will learn and grow to become better. Through failure we become better, always learning and growing.

But don’t you wish you learned all this in High School?

When the student is ready, a master appears. We laugh about it but it took me a long long time to be ready to walk this path.

    Mr R,

    Welcome aboard…

It is wonderful to see that you are already self aware. Keep in mind that your experiences are as valuable to the community as ours are to you. Dont hesitate to offer your experience to help others just because you may have experienced it more recently.

    Best wishes,

    Mr Fox

Thank you Mr Fox for making me feel welcomed. I do struggle with social media type forums because this is my first time doing so, I am learning the ins and outs of it still. Also in my line of work I have witnessed a lot of co workers being caught violating certain regulations by social media and has left more negativity about social media then there should be. Ultimately I desire to learn from the experiences, information posted, or the wisdom of others here on this site to better myself. I really do wish I learned a lot of this back in High School like Tex stated. It is all right though it is never to late to learn and better one self.

      Mr R,

It surprises many but I am not much of a social media person. I just can’t seem to find enough time to keep up. I guess that is a testament of where social media is on my priority list.

I believe almost all of us feel the same way, wishing that we discovered this lifestyle earlier in life. It was always right here but we never saw it. Maybe we never saw it because none of us were ready for such a mature dynamic at such a young age. Maybe as we matured we could begin to see more clearly and identify what we really need in a relationship.

      Best wishes

      Mr Fox
