Intro
I am Captain, lovingly called “Cappy.” My wife of 16 years is Ceana. We began discussing this June 12 of this year. IT has taken a while for us to figure out even how to begin. We found this site in the last week and are feeling more comfortable.
We have 3 kids- one married and living away, 15 y/o and 12 y/o.
Ceana brought this lifestyle up to me because she felt that she needed more out of our relationship. After researching many different blogs and sites, we decided to give this a go. Within the first week we noticed a major difference in our relationship. Ceana felt more safe and secure. I am feeling more confident. We are still in the learning stages and have set rules and consequences to transgressions of the rules. These have worked fairly well up to this point. The first time I had to discipline her, she didn’t think I would follow through. To her surprise, I did. After the discipline, Ceana felt more secure in our relationship and that I would follow through on any promise that I made, positive or negative.
At this point, the transfer of power has been smooth without having to break her. We have been learning very quickly our roles in this relationship. I believe our communication has played a great part in the smooth transition.
I have learned some great discipline ideas from this site, as well as feel like I have support when I have questions about being a new Dom. It’s a whole new uncharted territory for me, and I’m thankful you are here.
