Hello,
I not great at this so please bear with me. Most of our story is in my profile. Fist off I’m John. My wife (Jennifer) and I are both retired military (Army). We met a year before I retired, she retired a year after me. I was going through rehab learning to walk again thanks to an IED on my last tour (she was a god send never leaving my side, she was there for everything including helping deal with the PTSD). She was up front from the beginning about being a Submissive, although I found it hard to believe as dominant as she is in day to day life, especially on duty. We tried a couple of times at the beginning and I had the worlds view on the lifestyle that it was a form of abuse (I was ignorant). It would come up from time to time and I being ignorant, ignored it. About 6 months ago I thought I would give it a try for her with a blindfold first and had some rope to tie her hands if it went well. Not really sure what I was doing, it went well, and a deeper bond, and communication formed between us (with the deeper connection I finally opened up to her about 24 yrs of deployments). Quickly I became a student to be the best I could for her, happened upon this site and have been soaking everything up like a sponge. So now I’m committed to this and have the lifestyle to thank for the deeper love, connection, and admiration I have for Jennifer. -

Your introduction is very moving as I cant imagine the challenges that you have endured.
Your new found admiration and commitment toward your Jenifer is terrific. You are certainly on the right path when you talk about being the student and soaking up as much knowledge as you can.
