Hello all,
I am new to this and not 100 percent sure what to expect but I thought I better introduce myself and say hello to everyone.
My partner and I are slowly finding our way in the Dom / Sub world. I am no means an expert nor do I pretend to be but after doing a lot of research, it seems this forum is the best for well balanced advise and I am sure I will have a lot of questions down the track.
For now, I have some site exploring to do and look forward to chatting with you all some time into the future.

Welcome Aramand,
I think that being slightly unsure of what to expect is a good thing – Dominance and submission me so many different things to so many different people… It is easy to have a pre-conceived notion of what a D/s dynamic is or should be based on someone else’s dynamic. Being unsure means that you can develop a dynamic that works for both of you without having to ‘unlearn’ what a D/s relationship ‘should’ be.
The forums are great places for advice and ideas – don’t be shy about asking questions in them. Also, don’t be shy about the chat rooms… they’re great for exchanging ideas, receiving support and friendly advice.

To my knowledge you will not find any ‘expert’ here on husDOM… we are always the student… Continuing to learn about our craft…

Mr Fox, I would like to say that it was one of your blogs that first got both my partner and I thinking along the D/S lines. While I might not agree with some specifics of some blogs, I would like to say thankyou for starting us both on this journey.
I do already have a few questions, but will post them in the appropriate place.

From memory, the blog was submissive v slave. What you said made sense as we knew there was something there. After reading that blog, we looked into submission and she decided that was definitely what she wanted but didn’t want to be a servant as she put it. Back to the blog a second time which explained it perfectly and so we began the journey.
I will take you up on the kind offer to contact you directly from time to time. A lot of the time I like to get a range of different opinions thus posting on the forums is perfect for me but there are definitely some specifics I need to fine tune to assist myself and squeaks on our journey.

Thank you for sharing the blog post with me. That post was written because I was personally struggling with the issue at hand. I needed to define the roles for myself. I am elated to learn that it helped someone else as well.
