Ok so I have a great interest in having a D/s Marriage. I am not sure how to go about this with my wife and how to get her to become submissive. I feel like she wants too but I think she is unsure and doesn’t quite understand it. She and I have been married 15 years and we are very close and best friends. Hey pavilion, welcome to the site. Your situation sounds similar to ours when we began. First suggestion is to take it slow. Discuss everything with her and get her consent. Pick one simple thing to start with, do your research, discuss it with her, and then go for it. Learn from your mistakes, try again. Start in the bedroom and learn to craft a simple yet amazing experience for her. If you do it right, her interest will grow. Read through this site. And as for names, think of some you might want to call her and ask her about them. I let mine pick a name for me and she chose “Mr.” No need to enforce “master,” “sir,” and all that, in my opinion, if that doesn’t resonate with your sub.
Just a few suggestions based on my experiences and opinions. Last thing I will say is that it really can work for your situation. It has been an amazing ride for us and we are still loving it. Celebrated our first year in tonight. She is just glowing from it all, and like I said, our previous description very much aligned with yours in the post above.
