Normally, advice offered to new members during initial live chats are to read Mr Fox’s blogs, oldest to new. Then take advantage of the forum’s great search engine as well as live chat.

    Seems to be solid direction.

I’d like to implore you to not only spend some time on the forums, but participate. If you read a post from two years ago that speaks to you, reply to it and it’ll show up for all of us as a reminder. Most of us weren’t here two years ago.

And post new subjects! We all benefit from your thoughts. You may be reluctant to post for many reasons. But do it anyway. Your question will reach many more members than whoever happens to be in live chat.

And as the holidays are upon us and many of us are enjoying increased family time, you will likely notice live chat participation drops. And if you think about it, that’s okay. Family first, right?

Forums can be so valuable as a long term resource. Thank you for reading this and thank you for your future increased participation!

Thanks Tex, I was reluctant to reply to old posts but your encouragement puts me at ease.

    Tex,

    This is a great reminder…

A comment to an older post bumps it back into view for everyone to see.

Asking questions in the forum will help others that simply may not have to courage to ask or maybe they just haven’t considered the question at all yet.

Posting questions in the forum, unlike the chat, archives the information for the future Dominants helping to create the worlds best D/s-M resource.

The website has a very powerful community search tool that will enable a member to quickly locate specific information.

Use Tags on your forum posts in order to help the community search tool to categorize and locate specific information.

    Best wishes,

    Mr Fox

Necroposting by others brings new information to me. Live it. Love it.

Dominant Discussion Page is open for business. Here’s a thought. Use the forums as your personal blog. Document your successes and failures. And get some comments by others.

It will be insightful and a bit of fun to go back and check your early posts in a year! Trust me, it’s an eye opener.
