Good evening
Hello,
My wife has surprised me in the last couple of weeks by suggesting that she would like us to explore a D/s aspect to our lives.
This is not something I have taken part in previously but I am aware she has. However, my sex drive is generally higher than hers and I would also say I am more open minded. I am very interested in exploring this idea and particularly want to ensure I ‘get it right’ although I understand this is a journey on which we are embarking.
Having done some small research this site looks like an ideal place to gain insight and knowledge so I look forward to getting involved and hopefully contributing to the community. -

At the moment we’re mainly discussing what we want from this, and particularly what…activities…she’s interested in. I’m very much looking forward to exploring with her and hope it becomes a long term part of our marriage.

It can be intimidating because our subs are often more knowledgeable than us, but still ask us to lead them. We have to do our own research. There’s a wealth of knowledge in the blog posts and chat, and has been extremely beneficial to my wife and I. Our relationship and communication has never been better in the short few months we’ve been doing this. I am glad to hear you are exploring this with her and I would encourage you to communicate, communicate, and communicate. Taking time to talk about what she wants, needs, and doesn’t want will help you be the leader she is longing for.
