Grateful to be here . . .
Gentlemen,
Through a series of (un)fortunate circumstances, I discovered my kinky side at an early age. I kept it carefully tucked away for years . . . decades, actually, with only hints peeking out for my wife to notice. I married my Love, Blossom, in 1989, after 4 years of courtship during the latter years of high school and the (tumultuous) couple of years immediately after. Our marriage has struggled through military service, overseas wartime deployment, non-traditional college lifestyle, being broke, being busy and struggling with whether or not to have children or adopt . . . and we have grown stronger as a couple by virtue of coming through those struggles. Then, about five years ago . . . my wife read FSOG. I was reluctant, at first, to buy in, to believe she was for real; I was still feeling shame around my deepest, darkest desires. Slowly, though, we began to really open up to one another about what we want, what we need, from the other (still a work in progress). We have read the books, explored the internet, sought the guidance of a Mistress at a chateau, and were still left feeling, by virtue of being married, like we didn’t quite fit into the lifestyle. Until we found all of you. We joined both communities quietly a couple of years ago for a short time, and then backed away with concerns for internet privacy . . . but have concluded there is none, and our happiness is just too important to care. So, here we are, back, fully engaged, and learning from every blog post and every interaction. We look forward to being part of this supportive, creative, and like-minded family.

Welcome! This is a great community and the best part is that no one try’s to force their style or wisdom on anyone else. It is a very knowledgeable and sharing community that encourages each of us to take what parts we find here that will work for you and your significant other and use them to the fullest. It was great catching up with you the other night and really appreciated your introduction – very thoughtful and resonated with me personally as the challenges we often face in life can push us in directions that force us to be something we are not…i am happy that you have remained true to yourself and your and your submissive are on common ground.
We work hard to protect our own and everyone else’s privacy and i think you will find that this is a very protective and respectful community. I have made some of the most life changing friendships in this community and know that this will likely be true for you and your Blossom as well.
