Hello…Really new to this lifestyle
Hello to all. My wife and I have been married almost 20 years. Our marriage has always been based on the principal of the head of household and the submissive wife, but we are very new to the lifestyle of Dominant and Submissive. This site seems like it will be an excellent tool for learning, exploring, and nurturing this new facet of our lives. Thanks

And you jack up the levels of trust, you better your efforts to communicate with her (yet you don’t dump all your shit on her).
What do I mean? Read Mr Fox’s blogs especially down time. You listen to her. She will inevitably let you know what she needs.
God gave you two ears and one mouth and they are to be used proportionally.
This is an exciting time for you both. Enjoy the kink. Take it slow and read the forums. Great search engine for topics of interest. There is always live chat however your audience is limited. Forum questions read many Doms and can help with varied opinions.
As with anything in life, make it yours. Use what works for the two of you and jettison the rest.

Welcome aboard…
You may be surprised to learn that there are many others here at husDOM that have been married for a good deal of time as well.
Tex has already given you much of the breakdown here for a new member. I usually recommend that you begin reading the blog posts first. They will give you a good representation of the fundamentals of a D/s-M relationship. With this knowledge the forums will be easier to navigate and understand just what you may be interested in and what you realize isn’t for you and your new dynamic.
